A relationship needs to work both ways; if you don't feel the same for him, then in a way, you're being unfair to him by holding onto him when he has the chance to find somebody who does return his feelings. =/ I know that sounds harsh, but that's how I see it.

You have your rights; you can't let him pressure you into something you don't want. Trust me, I'm glad I stood my ground when I did, and I wish I had much sooner than I had. Love is blind in a lot of ways, but there are ways to avoid being completely blind--you gotta think of yourself as an individual who is with somebody else, not the two of you as one being. It puts things in perspective.

If he can't respect you enough not to say it, then...I hate to say it, but you two have serious issues. And the five month thing...Yeah, REALLY ironic. 0.0

Don't worry about it; he was a total jerk and a liar. I'm ten million times better off without him. I've learned my lesson and I've moved on.

Wow...that's really weird. Take it from me...you can't let him make these promises to you. He's too young to know what it really means. It'll only hurt both of you. My ex promised that I would have to be the one to end the relationship because he wanted to marry me so much. Then on our 5 month anniversary, he throws me out and asks out a close friend of mine a few weeks later.

When I was with my ex, he was pressuring me a lot of the time, always saying I was the one he was going to marry. And it left me feeling really confused, and I had to tell him that on a few occasions. I cried a few times over it, and in front of him. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

Unfortunately, everyone has to get hurt sometime, though. D8 Even if something is painful, sometimes it's necessary. Trust me, I know from past experience. =/
