Well, what you have to do (besides the essays of course, those are never fun xD) doesn't sound that bad. It actually sounds pretty fun, even though it might take some time to do it.
School over fun. You write stories for fun. Stories NEED to be fun, not because you have to do it quick or something or under stress. ;3 So first focus on your school work, and then you'll find yourself with some free time on your hands, which can be working on your story, or just come chill here with KH-V, and me of course ;D <33
