We've been going about this the wrong way. Entirely the wrong way. Yes. Why try to conceal? There is no need to conceal anything. The inverse is a far better method. Being furtive is useless when being direct is far better.

Here's the new method. It's a tad complicated, but it's foolproof. You've got plausible deniability and you've potentially got the ability to pre-emptively ease misgivings, situation depending.

I am currently preparing an encrypted file using Truecrypt, the program I told you about earlier. It's a document called HIGURASHI. There's nothing to suspect there it's encrypted, or that it contains a program or two. However it does. When opened using Truecrypt, if a certain password is entered, it will appear on your computer like a usb memory stick would, and it contains a program called Higurashiwhentheycry, the visual novel of the Higurashi anime. This is the decoy (although still playable). If a different specific password is entered, a different disk image is mounted. This disk image contains two programs: MSN and Trillian. Trillian is an MSN alternative, and is easily superior. Anyway, you run them from there, and just safely eject the disk image when done (or unmount it using Truecrypt).

Now there are a few different scenarios.

* You can install Truecrypt without Administrative Privileges.
- You do not tell your mother about Truecrypt and install it as normal (without pinning it to the start menu or making a shortcut on the desktop).

-* You are asked about Truecrypt/Higurashi.
- You explain that it is an uncompression program/compressed folder. You explain that you downloaded it to play a game. You demonstrate how it opens the game folder.

* You cannot install Truecrypt without Administrative Privileges.
- You explain to your mother that you downloaded a game that's been compressed in a certain way that you cannot open without a program. You request that she installs Truecrypt to allow you to play it.

-* Your mother installs it.
- You use Truecrypt to open Higurashi as the first image and not the one containing MSN. You open MSN later, when she isn't looking.

-* Your mother refuses to install it.
- We have to look into ways of gaining admin rights without resetting the admin account, or we find a new method of hiding MSN. In either case, we need to rethink.

Even in the worst case scenario of your mother refusing, the MSN folder goes undiscovered. It will never be found unless you mess up and enter the secondary password in front of someone or are caught using MSN. (And the being caught risk also holds true with being here, so we've established that as a risk you're prepared to take.)

I have a RAR file containing the Higurashi file and the Truecrypt installer sitting here. Shall I upload it? I'll explain how to get into each file later.

I did some research for you. I recommend creating a folder, installing the MSN files to a folder in it (as opposed to the Programs folder) and having the shortcut to running MSN in the original folder. Then you lock the folder containing the shortcut and program files folder using Password-Protect. It expires after 30 days, but anything it locks remains locked and you can still unlock it.

You hide the program that way, but you have a backup plan for if you're caught using it red handed via Acehide. You just press the hotkey and conceal the MSN window before the viewer gets a good look at it.

This details the story of a strange Pokemon intaking too many Rare Candies.
