Suddenly a girl’s voice came. “I see there’s plenty of excitement around here today.†A girl came walking down the path and stopped by the stall. The merchant smiled, looking at her. “Ah. Rose!†The girl called Rose smiled at everyone. She was tanned skin like everyone else and had brown hair; the front parts came down lazily over her face and were pink instead. She had brown, soft eyes and wore a three-quarter length cream dress with sandals. Alphonose and Edward stopped, looking at Rose slightly confused. Rose looked at them both. “Don’t mind me; I’d hate to spoil all the fun!†Alphonose put his hands down from Edward and turned to face her, putting his hands by his side. “That’s okay, my names Alphonose Elric!†He bowed slightly to her and then stood back up. “Nice to meet you.†Edward threw the men down and grinned, pointing to himself and putting a hand on his hip. “And I’m Edward, Al’s older brother; Also known as the FullMetal Alchemist.†Rose blinked, slightly confused at that fact. “Older brother?†She asked. “But shouldn’t it be the other way around?†Edward glared at her, starting to get pissed. Alphonose put his hands up again, looking at Edward. “Easy brother, easy....†He said calmly. The merchant chuckled slightly, looking at them both then turned to Rose, smiling. “Hey Rose, have you finished your shopping for today’s offering?†He asked her. Rose nodded, smiling still. “Yeah.†The merchant looked over towards the Elrics, nodding his head at them. “Well then. Maybe you can take them to temple with you. They say they’re looking for something. I bet Father Cornello could help them.†He looked back at Rose. “You know. Have him ask for God’s grace.†Rose looked at the Elrics, still smiling. Alphonose shook his hands slightly as Edward started to think. “Umm... That’s okay! We don’t really-â€
“That’s alright if you don’t have an offering today.†Rose cut Alphonose off. “And besides; he had rooms for travellers, you could stay there tonight.†Alphonose shook his head. “Thanks but-â€
“As a matter of fact, we’d love to take you up on that.†Edward cut Alphonose off too. He looked at Alphonose. “Wouldn’t we Al?†He asked. Alphonose looked at Edward, confused. “We would? You mean you WANT to?†He asked. Edward nodded, grinning still. Rose smiled and headed off down another path with the brothers following her. Everyone watched them go as one of the men spoke up. “It sure is nice seeing Rose with a smile on her face.†The merchant nodded. “Yeah. She’s beginning to act like her old self again. Her heart must be healing at last.†As he said that, the woman from before stood up and walked away, smirking.

Edward stared at the back of Rose’s head then looked up at Alphonose. “Hey Al. Do you remember that woman at the shop? She knew me, have we met before?â€
Alphonose looked down at him and then shook his head. “No, I don’t think so.â€
“You shouldn’t worry.†Rose said back to them. “I’m sure Cornello’ll help you find what you’re looking for. And besides.†Edward blinked, frowning slightly. “You show him you’re faithful I bet he’ll make you taller!†Edward glared at her as Rose started to laugh, running off. Edward chased after her. “WHATS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! I’M NOT SHORT! YOU COME FROM A DESERT TRIBE OF GIANTS OR SOMETHING!†He shouted as Alphonose ran after them both. “Edward, please!†Alphonose called after him.
Edward turned on him. “YOU WANT SOME OF THIS TOO?!â€
