Hmm...well, I'm assuming you're starting with a larger image, so what I usually do is make a new document as 100x100, then copy whatever I need to resize into that document. Then resize to the borders of the 100x100, and for me it usually doesn't kill the quality.

I think that it would be harder for me to sustain the standards I work at if I did not have experience to back my emotions with, or the emotions behind the plotline there in the first place, but I doubt that I would have work any weaker. I would just have to work harder at obtaining it.

I would think that the situations that I am involved in are quite strong attributes to my writing, yes.

To be honest with you, I don't know what drives me to write this way. I get an image in my head - or a scene, story, etc. - and I want the world to imagine it with me. So I write about it.

Everything I write is never planned in any way, shape, or form. It all comes natural and from the emotions i feel at the time.
