I have the fortune of living within a six-hour drive from Yellowstone, meaning we try to vacation there every year. It's cool, but I can't sleep outdoors. At all....

An okapi!? Well, now I'm jealous... I actually saw a wolf in the wild once. It was lying on a rock by the side of the road (a busy one, ironically), and so we pulled over to get a picture on the other side. It was an angle like \ so our car was a little slanted, lol

Lol, we have a zoo near my house (that has grown steadily smaller and smaller over the years) that still says it has lots of animals but...they're gone. There was once upon a time deer from Europe, elk, this giant condor (sweet!), a bunch of birds, and small animals... now there's like song birds and two monkeys or something like that. But the other cages still say they've got the animals in them...

Statistics is ridiculously easy to come up with examples, actually. You just make the stuff up on the spot, then calculate it through the formulas, then you go "Wow, that was interesting... I don't really care about the curve of the data of how many howler monkeys suffer from dry throats..."

Pretty much. There's some basic core formulas that are ridiculously complicated, and that's all there is. The rest you just make up as you go mostly. And since I'm mostly a logic person, I hated it.

Smaller = meaner = my ears ripped off. (Because cats eat peoples' ears, because that's what Arthur said.)

It's not hard to do (Algebra 2 level at most), just hard to get your head around. I mean, like 80% of all statistics is made up on the spot.

Well, good for you. Calculus was the one AP class I actually enjoyed. I like math, but Statistics sucked...
