Yeah, 7th graders don't get as much homework. I think they just want us to get a feel for what high school and college are going to be like in the first few days, and continue it for the next 4 years. You enjoy homework, I presume. It was okay, a bit more freedom than middle school, it's huge, I didn't get lost though. I am getting to all my classes on time too. The homework is annoying me already, and it's only the second day. I'm debating whether I like high school or dislike high school.
