I finally updated my poem thread by the way, but I didn't exactly pick my best work. Entered the October Petry Contest too. I'm thinking of putting my previous contest poem (Wire Saw) in that thread too. Is that allowed? I mean, September's contest has ended right?

Gee, I really don't have a favourite band or even genre actually. I often have songs stuck in my head for days in a row though. Which can mean that they are either really good, or really annoying, or played on the radio a lot.

Actually, the line-up ended up to be pretty damn good!
It was just that it seemed disappointing at first, until you actually listened to them. They were just as good or better than the bigger names appearing the previous year. ;)
Editors, The Hives and Nightwish were superb imho.

About four years I think. This year was the best though, despite the somewhat "disappointing" line-up.

Yeah, gigs of smaller bands definitely have their charm. I go to them too.
Rock Werchter is Belgium's most popular festival (it's even been elected as the best festival of the world as far as I know). I try to attend it every year.

Writing a song is quite different I think. You'd have to take rhythm into account and stuff like that. I don't think I'd do a good job. But thanks for the high expectations! :)
I'd consider Glastonbury (and see some more of England while I'm there) if it weren't so expensive.
I go to Rock Werchter instead. Don't know if you have heard of that.
