Well,PS2Dis is for making codes,but you don't need to know everything about it to use it,i'll teach you the things you need to know in order to use it.
And Emulators alone are for doing Dumps,which are needed in order to make codes using PS2Dis.
Well,i'm sure i'm confusing you,but i promise i'll explain more later.

No,it's not true.
The only thing illegal is the BIOS,you need it to play the games on the Emu,and in order to get one you must extract from your own PS2,but most people just download it,so that's what makes it illegal.

Well,i also tried that tutorial once,and i also didn't learn anything,besides,that's how you use PS2Dis,not how to make a code.
Anyway,i'll try(I'm very bad at it...) to teach you what i know when i have time.
BTW,can you use the PS2 emulator?

Yes, yes they do. It's pathetic really, my brother spent like $50 on one when we were into Yu-Gi-Oh! and then he's like "God, my Obelisk the Tormentor is better than this."
