I can't find the thread nor can I remember the date (maybe you could?), but do you remember when I brought up how I turned my computer on without the case on one day to find out what was rattling and the CPU fan was barely spinning instead of spinning fast like it should so it can circulate air and you said that can sometimes be normal when it's just booting up?
Well, I guess it wasn't normal (:x) and it must have died sometime between then and today when I cleaned my PC, after not having cleaned it for a few months, and tested it.
Have you tried a cold boot? (turning it on after it has been off for a while) CPUs do come with a critical shutdown point to avoid damage while overheating. Either way it is time to replace that cooling unit, but there is a chance of your processor still being okay.
I'm still in shock. I mean, it would seem like common sense that an hour video would take an hour or more to process due to the length, but I guess not.
