Well, I don't really download new effect packs like some people. I just experiment with the Gaussian Blur on certain colors (mostly green). I like to experiment with what I have to try and make it all look cooler, though I have Vegas Pro 10 so idk if that means I have more effects than you from the get go.

Though if you mean stuff like the fire overlay, I usualy just rip stuff from YouTube...

Well, I remember you made a video a few years ago and had like a bunch of numbers and things covering your video and had it play through along with the scenes. It's hard for me to describe, and I can't find a video to explain it that much better

Ah, that. Yeah, that's an effect called bg_virus (or something similar; not 100% sure on the name). I'm pretty sure you can find it in a google search, but I could always put it online and send you a link if you really want it...

Well it's those kind of effects I was looking for. I mean, are they mask generators or effects or what?

They're just video files I overlay or mask.

Well, you can either look for the "Mask Generator" effect in Vegas, or you can make a track just for overlaying it. This explains the process.

Like I said before, I like to just experiment with stuff until I find something I like. Mess around with stuff. You never know what you'll figure out how to do.
