What would that be?

I'm looking for a tattoo design, and I'm not sure how you are with original concepts. I want a wolf, realistic design and the main concept is the wolf is sorta fading away into snowflakes at a certain point. It looks very good in my head, but I can't do anything with it y'know?

I appreciate it, I know it's a vague sort of request, but it's something I'm looking to get done, but I have no way to express my thought into image.

Hmm, not right, in my head it's more face on, with part of the face breaking away, and into much smaller snowflakes.

So then you'd like something more like this?

Yes! That's the general idea, but obviously for a tattoo I need it looking beautiful. Shading, high detail the lot. I'm not sure how into drawing you are but for a general concept you'd pretty much nailed it. I'm not sure about colour either, but we're getting somewhere for sure.

Another thought popped into my head, the expression of the wolf, looks too deadpan, I'm wanting it a bit fiercer looking.

Oh wow, it's looking really fantastic. I think the jawline needs to be defined a bit more, to give it more of a 3D shape to the face. the fade away/snowflake effect isn't quiiiite right yet either, I think we need more snowflakes, different variations in size and different shapes, all snowflakes are unique after all.

But this is really coming along nicely with what I had in my head.

I am deeply, terribly sorry that this took so long. This would've gotten done a helluva lot quicker had my hand co-operated with me.

Zach, this is an absolutely fantastic image, you've really done well with how little i've input. If you're happy you're done now, i'm gonna take this image to my tattoo artist and go from there, he'll probably input a couple of slight changes to make it stand out better as a tattoo, but this is basically what i'm going to get. Thank you for your help.
