I suppose. But either way someone's getting axed.
That's what always sucks about these games: you get axed early, and then you're forced to watch everyone else trip over their conclusions.
Well, I used to play games like this quite a bit in middle school, and let me tell you I was usually the first person offed -- which sucked whenever I did get to be mafia, haha.
But it's so much fun when you're in it until the very end.
I never played mafia in this manner, just the sleepover version where you shut all the lights off, one person is the narrator, everyone draws slips of paper giving their roles, and everyone puts their heads down until it's all over.
Oh. Well, I played it at school where we drew for our roles and the teacher/narrator would dictate everyone's decisions, but we'd only close our eyes in the night phase.
The only time we had our eyes open was when we found out who died, if the doctor saved them in time, and whether or not the sheriff arrested the mafia person; and there was just one member of the mafia, not a whole group of people.
