Relatively alright, as per usual. I am not in Florida at the moment, I moved seven~eight months ago to study abroad. I have a beautiful little kitten now, her name is Maura.
I'm jealous. I'm allergic. (But such a cute name, AGH)
Taking a year off of school, with an internship at Florida Hospital in Orlando, and a job a part-time job at Universal Studios. I'm going to apply at UM for Spring classes for next year.
I am staying with my grandmother in Macedonia. Not a country known for its education per se, but it was less costly than investing a bunch of dough in one of those expensive semester abroad programs. Plus my Baba's cooking is top tier, all vegetarian-catered dishes.
All I remember from AP World History was that Macedonia was the only country that gained independence from Yugoslavia without bloodshed. So it must be DAMN peaceful there. Or I'm wrong.
Peaceful, well. Not in the same vein as Switzerland or Liechtenstein, if that's how you mean. But the atmosphere is relaxed, and the people are generally friendly if standoffish. Oy, traffic is absolutely terrible and as such it's a pretty good thing I have no desire to drive or learn the mechanics thereof.
Living life in the slow lane.
Never know how to respond to those inquires, anyways.
Hm. I like slow. As long as it isn't filled with the "privileged" mindset (like Switzerland and Liechtenstein), I'm good. Kind of like Oregon, country-sized.
I probably sound really stupid, but I hope you know what I mean.
How do you mean by 'privileged'? I've never stepped foot outside Zurich airport, but the folk were rather nice. Incredibly nice, actually. Sometimes I wonder whether Switzerland is even a real place.
To inquires of 'how are you doing' and 'anything new,' et cetera. Maybe it's the depression speaking, but the immediate, suppressible response is 'I'm functioning.'
