Doing some math on the speed of light to disprove this one part of an analysis of Goku that says he was more faster, stronger, tougher then what the Goku vs. Superman Death Battle says. To put it in context, the analysis says Goku can move at the speed of light when he was kid because of one time he dodged a laser. Of course given that if he could move at said speed that would mean that as an adult he got slower. I'll explain more if you're interested.
Given the fact that Goku has no actual peak or anything, actually using what he was currently at in the ending of DBZ, that would make the battle horribly one-sided.
To put in perspective, let's say he can move at the speed of light in base form prior before King Kai's training. At top speed he would be able to move at 671 million miles per hour, now with that in mind Snake Way is 1 million kilometers in length (about 625,000 miles). Now after Goku is brought back to life he must fly back that distance, now by the time he gets to the other end 28 hours have passed. Now if you say that isn't a big of a deal I'd like to point out that the Sun's rays move at light speed, the distance between that and Earth is 92 million miles. It takes an average of 8 minutes and 20 seconds for the light of the sun to travel from the Sun to the Earth. That means Goku should be back on Earth before Vegeta and Nappa even arrived. So either Goku seriously dropped in speed or he took his sweet ass time.
And I didn't even take into account the curves in Snake Way which Goku flew over and the fact that Planet Kai's 10 times Earth's gravity into account in the above so the amount of time should be less.
Really? Huh, didn't remember that. But the point stands that Goku should have been there a lot earlier then he was.
Well truthfully, due to all the anime filler, he was stopped by various obstacles, such as the Snake Princess and falling off into Hell. It can be assumed that those things happened, but werent shown. However, I do not disagree that he should have indeed been there earlier.
But the Snake Princess was tied up and Goku was comfortably flying over the clouds (which Hell is under). And if the Snake Princess untied herself I think Goku would be wise enough to avoid her.
I'd also like to point out that Goku shouldn't have taken as long to reach Planet Kai as he did because, if the analysis is to be believed, he can move at light speed before King Kai so that means if he were to start running without stop he'd be there in under, oh, nine minutes. Give or take a few seconds.
So in summary, if Goku could in fact move at the speed of light before King Kai he either got really slow or really lazy. Or, ya know, Anime physics. Because if we saw Goku as a kid get turned to ash by some mook in a robot suit the story wouldn't go on now would it?
It should be. I'm also a little disappointed though. The reason being a movie I want to see right away that I've been waiting months for comes out the day after we leave... Yeah...
First off, what do you mean? I don't remember bringing up Arceus before. Could you refresh my memory?
Second, yes the Pokémon one. To my knowledge there is only one Arceus to my knowledge.
Oh, well Arceus created Time (Dialga), Space (Palkia), and then banished Giratina to the reverse world for crimes. Arceus can take on all 18 Pokémon Types through the use of plates, and his signature move Judgement becomes the type he currently is.
