Here's what do. Put something on TV that you've seen a million times. Then start writing. The thing serves as background noise that can drown out the Sirens and since you've seen it a million times, you don't really have to pay attention to it.
Yeah... I can only guess they are going to have Japanese actors play the white European characters (barring Mikasa), which that is a problem in and of itself.
Japan doesn't exactly have the best CGI, but that I can let slide. I'm talking about it on another forum about the possible Japanese actors playing the white characters and a guy is arguing that it is fine. :\
Not as mean as you think. You could have totally spoiled the ending or even what the plot is beyond the "saving the Galaxy" thing. Still, nice that they decided to expand past the "saving AMERICA" thing. Most Superhero comics are basically saving America.
And if you DO spoil the ending or plot beyond the whole "saving the Galaxy" thing, I will not respond for a month and a half.
Thor is more saving the world(s) with his movies. Iron Man for his first movie was save the Middle East, second movie no country saving involved, Captain America is save the world (both films), Hulk doesn't have America saving or any saving, and Avengers is also world saving.
But all of these take place in America. It's the first country to be attacked. The threat always lands there first (except in Captain America when it was in Germany). Why do superhero movies never have the aliens or supervillain land in the middle of nowhere and the superheroes have to go to them. The villains just kind of pop up around the heroes. And I'm not just talking about the movies. The shows, the comics, etc. Canada almost never gets supervillain threats.
IF YOU KNEW IT YOU WOULD HAVE GUESSED IT! About Guardians, you were right, the sound track was amazing (if you love 70's music which I do). Groot made me cry many tears, and I love how they broke a bunch of the cliches (like when the villain has Drax by the neck and starts monologuing about remembering his family and they crash a ship on him). As for Winter Soldier, It was waaaay better than the first one. I can't say it was very surprising that Bucky was alive though. That was spoiled for me ages ago.
ufotable, the guys who made the Fate/Zero anime, are making a Fate/Stay Night anime (based on the Unlimited Blade Works route) and a Fate/Stay Night movie (based on the Heaven's Feel route)! *my reaction*
