Well, I went to work, and then I got sick, and then I went home early, and then I had soup, and then I watched some Digimon Tamers, and now I feel better. All in all, good day. There was a bit of an issue at work I suppose... The guy who was wrapping the flowers (the VALENTINE'S DAY flowers, that people give to their wives and girlfriends) sucked. He couldn't wrap for the life of him.
- 12.5. It looked like crap! See, here, you can see a nice wrapping (left) and his wrapping (right). He uses too much paper and there's too much of a seam. (The seams are the slightly thinner lines.) And this would be one of his better ones. they were very often lumpy or lopsided or not even closed all the way.
I have done better. One of mine would look almost exactly like the one on the left. And that's with no training. Eventually, another cashier took over flower wrapping and tried to show him how to do it better at the same time, but at the end of the day, it still looked like crap.
It does. I spoke to the cashier who was teaching him and she said that he wasn't listening at all. It could be because he thinks wrapping flowers is "girly" and doing it damages his manly pride. But come on! It's a skill you need for work. And part of manly pride is doing what you need to do for your work and doing it well. He just made himself look like a moron.
Clearly he isn't manly enough to handle such a task. Only someone with little "manly pride" would think such a task is beneath him and act accordingly.
Men do what they need to with gusto and vigor whether it be killing bears with toothbrushes or making sandwiches!
Sometimes, you just need to rant something out. So, anything interesting happen in your day? I know it was good, but good doesn't necessarily mean interesting.
Very good for the tenuous sanity.
Besides crap-wrap boy? It was a good day. Did some work, watched some anime, ate some gay bacon strips. You know, a day.
I like the tearing out the throats bit. It seems bloody though, and I don't want to get red on my red Christmas clothes. Maybe I'll just throat-punch them instead.
Any other clothes, I'd be fine, but I have to wear the Christmas clothes to family events, and I'd rather not give my grandmother a heart attack. Blood is super easy to wash out it you get it right away though.
If I leave it to dry, it turns brown and I don't have any shirts in that colour. Therefore, I must throat punch people if I'm wearing Christmas colours and tear out throats with every other colour.
