Yes and no. It's from Vividred Operation, a recently-finished anime from this season. It's a Magical Warrior anime, a good bit of action, but more focused on the girls themselves than the combat. Still pretty cool imo though.

Started watching this anime earlier, and now I'm on episode 3, getting quite a few amount of laughs out of it. Should have started this earlier, along with Strike Witches :P

I think I actually remember reading something about it before, but I never made a note of it to look back at. I read someone saying that "it's too tame for those like Strike Witches", but since i'm liking it, I'm betting Strike Witches will be good as well

Vividred is sort of an in-between anime. It's a little fanservicy, but not much, whereas Strike Witches is apparently a lot more fanservicey.

yeah, I noticed there was a bit of fanservice in Vividred, so if there's more in Strike Witches, I better watch out; otherwise I'll break into a nosebleed like in anime XD

I do, and the references were pretty hilarious. Actually all the main girls and their Vivid forms are based on pretty well-known mecha series. Akane is Gurren Lagann.

It's fairly obvious. Bright red, uses a boomerang, even wears the glasses, Akane is defeinitely Gurren Lagann. Aoi is GaoGaiGar, Wakaba I think is another Brave series but not sure which, and I'm not sure exactly what Himawari is meant to be.

Oh, I kinda get what you mean with Akane now. I completely forgot about the whole boomerang thing in Gurren Lagann. Although I have no idea what GaoGaiGar is, or what you mean by Brave series.
On episode 10 right now, just marathoning from episode 1 to 12 and give it a one-shot watch

GaoGaiGar you'll find just by running Google image search. It's an older mecha series that was well-known in Japan for bringing mecha anime back into the spotlight. Brave series is a long-running mecha brand like what Gundam is.

Oh, well if that's all, I can just look them up anytime, since I doubt I'll be terribly interested to watch them.
BTW, that crow is completely messed up. I mean, saying things like "They don't want people to have the system, so I'll do their will in their place" and all that nonsense? That crow completely lost me with what it was saying, as well as completely bat-**** insane

Just finished, and I gotta say, that was a great anime. Loved the final fight, and I wish we could have seen that vivired once more. Not too mention, they use a punch, an EPIC PUNCH! to get rid of that baka of a bird. I tip my hat to you sir, for persuading me to watch that anime
