I've been doing well. My blood sugar seems to be finally under control. I don't start classes until February, but I kind of wish it started sooner just so I had stuff to do.
That's great to hear!! :D
Wowz, February! When did you get out for break? I dread the piles of work from classes but I am very glad that they are classes of my major. Makes the work fun :P. Definitely gives me something to do as well.
I got out in mid December. I don't know know how to exactly what to do with my time on long breaks like this. Haha. I already signed up for my classes, one of them being film appreciation, so I'm really looking forward to that.
Lol I know what you mean. Long breaks are nice without the work, but you get bored after a while without it XD!
Awesome! Sounds like an interesting class. What other classes are you taking? :D
Definitely a lot of work, but it's enjoyable haha! Hopefully that will help me get through it. Insane work load @.@ but I learn something every minute of work put into it. Will be worth it! :D I hope that I do well too....going to work hard and do my best. I wish you the best in your classes as well! :) Will be an interesting semester :P
Yep, that's for sure. I'm kind of sad I don't get to do journalism again this semester, since I liked writing movie reviews for them last spring, but the department has no funding and the original teacher left. With some classes though, I may just be crazy busy. XD
Aw :/ that stinks.....always the fun/interesting classes that have to go, sadly.
You probably will be crazy busy XD! Maybe that cancelled journalism class is a sign :O dun dun dun! haha
Yeah. My only issue will probably be all the science stuff. I can handle chemistry and even a bit of biology, but I don't know much of environmental science.
Oh no, I'm not taking three sciences, just environmental science. I just put the other two as examples of what I can do in that department. If only I hadn't registered too late.
Hahaha! Well cool XD Science was my fav in high school. I don't need a science in college...which is nice :P but deep deep deep down I kind of miss learning about that stuff lol
Haha, I'm kind of that way with a lot of my old courses. Today went pretty good; I'm trying out a new studying strategy for this semester. Kind of late to start that being a third year, but what can ya do? XD
I have been doing just lovely! Helping my friend with his senior project animation....so I am pretty excited for that. Character development has been complete and rough sketches have been drawn so we are currently in the animation process. :D Looking forward for the finished project!
Thanks for asking ^.^ and yourself?
Wow, that sounds like a handful of stuff. Good thing it seems like you enjoy doing it. I've been okay. Classes were fine, but I was tired as hell when I got home. Thank goodness I have tomorrow off. XD One of my classes is going to involve a group project, and I do bad in groups.
Lol! First few days of classes can be killer XD You had today off? So lucky!
Oh group projects v.v I don't mind them sometimes, but I would honestly rather do a project on my own most of the time. It's hard to get everyone together. And when you want to work on something and need one of the members part included and they aren't prepared....oh...ahhh! haha! However, it depends on the project. :P which class is your group project for?
It's for my economics class, and to make if worse, I think he's counting it as our final. I just have a hard time having to work in groups because I feel disconnected with everyone.
Oh....ehhhhh v.v counting it as a final is always blah. Haha.
I can agree with that. Especially in college, I mean, if it's a class with all new people you haven't met before and they just place you together in a group to do a project it's kind of....awkward-ish? XD
I see. I have a group project in Visual Effects. My professor believes that even though visual effects are all the rage today, practical effects still are a major advantage in film. So we have to make a "how to" video as a group showing how to make a practical effect such as sugar glass, cloud tank, stop motion with live action, etc etc etc....haha Will be interesting.
That sounds cool. If it was me, I'd probably do some horror movie type stuff, like the shower scene in Psycho. The girl is killed, but there is no real sign of her being stabbed. It's all in the audience's head. That counts, right?
You would most definitely! Especially since you are a film person :D
This class....all we do is watch movies and talk about the effects and stuff....relaxed class but you learn a lot! Love it
