I've been fine.

Good to hear. Anything exciting?

Nope. I'm gonna homeless for three days and two nights in a couple weeks, but that happens a couple times a year anyway.

Homeless? Why.

I'm going to a con and I don't have a hotel room.

Ah, I thought you meant like you were being kicked out temporarily or something.

What will you do, then? You can't just sleep on a park bench or something out in the cold.

Luckily, the whole con is indoors. If I must, I can doze off in a bathroom stall for an hour or so. Ideally, though, I'll be able to avoid the con staff and sleep on a chair and footrest in the lobby.

An hour? They say you need eight ours of sleep, but six or seven is fine for me.

Anyway, I don't remember the movie name, but it reminds of that Will Smith movie where the character he plays and his wife break up. He ends up getting custody of their son, but later ends up losing their apartment because he lost his job and couldn't pay rent.

Later in the film, they sleep in the bathroom, and he (Will) sits against the door because some guy kept trying to get in while his son was sleeping.

Well, I'll probably scatter my sleeping over the course of each day. With any luck, I'll have a shoulder to nap on during the day on Saturday and Sunday.

By shoulder, you mean like your girlfriend?

I don't have a girlfriend, but if things go as planned on Saturday, yes. I have a girl that I like who will definitely be at the con and it's pretty clear that she likes me too.
