Ahh good, I'm doing alright. Life has been one big nutcase of busyness ;-; I fear the stress may consume me one day xD I'm alright though, just working through things that I look forward to being resolved.
Well not much. Saw Skyfall over the weekend, last Tuesday I went to see a Rush concert, and I saw Wreck-It Ralph at some point this month. Can't remember what day. ^^;
Also, why does Hollywood keep making remakes of classic? Just why. ;_;
Well... on wensday the remake of Red Dawn is coming out. Why does there need to be a remake of Red Dawn? The original was awesome! It had Swayze killing Russians, what's not to love?!
Ahh good, which is the best bond film in your opinion?
Never seen Red Dawn but Hollywod just have to remake films and I don't know why. Sometimes the new one is better but normally the old one is. I mean, perhaps they just have to show off how much better they have become at making films over the years.
I haven't seen many Bond films actully. But personally I like Skyfall the best out of the ones I have seen.
You can litteraly count the number of remakes that surpass the original on one hand. But I don't get WHY make a remake when you can just put th original back in theaters and charge $8 a seat for it. This method basicly costs you no money and you are likely to get a ton of money off it.
Okay but see it this way, why spend (let's be conservative here) 60,000,000 dollars (probably more then that) to make this remake when you can put the original back in theaters for no money? And people would go see the original if it was back in theaters. How do I know? Some time back earlier this year they put Titanic back in theaters (with 3-D but whatever) and guess what, it made a ton of money! AGAIN!
That is true xD you are correct, I suppse they just think they can make even more money with DVD sales as well. I don't know really, if the remake is a different take on the story e.g. the new Alice and Wonderland then I don't think it's so bad but if it's literally just remaking it then I don't understand the point.
You can litterally count the number of remakes that surpass the original on one hand. I have a simple rules for remakes, if it isn't better then the original then it has no right to exist.
