Dark Hero Days was my first too. Love that game; Axel and Adell are both amazing characters.

I haven't gotten Axel but I now understand his behavior. But Adell is pretty cool.

You don't get Axel as a character in the normal story mode, but he does have a seperate story mode for himself that occurs before the normal one.

Okay, I see. Still pretty early in the normal story mode.
