    Why is that? They weren't really incredible games if you ask me. There's a reason VII was the first to be released in America.

    It's not so much that they were incredible, I just feel like I missed out. Maybe that's why I don't understand the love of FFIX, which was supposedly a throwback to the old games that fans wanted. VII's just kinda overrated, it looks like the PS1 era of Final Fantasy wasn't as good and it only picked up after FFX, which in itself was kind of a downgrade from IX.
