Well, I wish to introduce a mechanical-biological character that is of my own creation. It is very weak in its first state, however over time it will evolve into stronger forms. It goes through the process of alpha, beta, gamma, espillon, ect. Taking a Greek form of evolution. He would be a carnation of the darkness that you have portrayed in the beginning.

Before its defeat, it would evolve and become a much more worthy foe. In total it would have 24 forms, Alpha being the most basic to eventually becoming Omega, the final. I would say the only way he could become Omega is if he absorbs the darkness whole. Otherwise it would be nearly impossible.
