What I do when that happens is reset the game and grind all my party members until they're at or above that level.

Lol. I dun remember how long it took me. All I know is that I used Red XIII, Cloud, and I think Yuffie.

Getting the "Knights of the Round" summon helps. A lot.

Now the old FF games DEFINETLY had a lot of tactics involved. What I did in Chrono Trigger was leave 3 characters underleveled. I equipped an EXP Share, then went and farmed. My over-leveled characters got more EXP, so I leveled up faster.

But I'm sure FFVII doesnt have something like that.

I did that once in Chrono Trigger. I got to the boss and this epic music that has wind howling in the background plays. He has 6666 HP. I beat him by getting a critical hit, using Ice on him, then Fire. I was SO MAD
