On a somewhat unrelated note; when Simon performs Giga Drill Break, it is shown that when he throws Gurren's sunglasses, they "split" into two. Me and my little brother have been debating over how this works. He says that Gurren simply wears several pairs of sunglasses, and that they are just really close together until thrown. I retort by telling him that it's Spiral Power that's causing the single pair to basically "clone" itself, creating the second. Which one of us is correct?
