Actually, it's the stalker's fault for trying to kill Misa-Misa :3

But Rem GAVE Misa-Misa the Death Note. Had she left Misa-Misa alone, she never would have met Light.

So basically it's Rem's fault for giving her the Death Note.

And to think, she could have done so much better than Light. Her option's weren't really limited.
