Strider Hiryu was one of the most popular characters from Marvel vs Capcom 2, and had great synergy with Doctor Doom. In Assist Me (what the new Doom is based off of), Doctor Doom is always going on about how Marvel vs Capcom 2 is better because of that. Strider is a ninja-style character who's main objectives are to assassinate targets given to him by the head Strider.
