I have no problem with the Lightning/Hope shipping, but I still don't find much connection to it. Like...sure they had that one part together, and she took care of him a bit, but I never felt like they were even slightly romantic with each other or that they would be cute together. But really, the game's cast I felt was severely under-developed except for Lightning, Fang, and I guess Vanille.

Hope is sooo annoying for anything but combat. Seriously, as stock whiny kid who has to be useful to the plot somehow as it gets. Sazh at least was really cool and I cared for him because he had a son to fight for, and he showed real determination. Snow is....eh.
