Yeah, guess you're right. I saw the tie and how it was a bit lower than a tie normally is (Like it is in his Arc 2 outfit), and assumed it was based more on arc 2. My mistake.
But they're both still hot-headed badasses, they just show it off in different ways. Besides, like you said, there's a fine line between having an alternate character and having a duplicate. Neither the Kamina's nor the Kittan's cross that line. They are alternate versions of a character in an anime, so of course they're going to be very similar. If we were to point out the fact that they were alternate versions, then there wouldn't be a problem. Banners would help with this as well, since they show the difference in looks.
Well, yeah, he always had a high amount of respect for her, but it always seemed like it was from a military standpoint. Guess they had to change that into something else for Double K.

There's a solution for the Kittan's looking different: I choose a different outfit for him. Double K Kittan, to me, looks more like he's based off of Kittan's Arc 2 outfit. I'd be using his Arc 1 variant, from when he was the leader of "The Black Siblings".
As for your point on acting identical: Wouldn't that mean having Kamina and Kamina together would be a problem, too?
He's dating Adiane...Dafuq?

Who's to say there can't be two King Kittan's? They could combine and become "Ultimate King Kittan" or something.
Oh, of course he'd be radically different...

How is it that Kamina and Kamina are different, yet Kittan and Kittan aren't?
