If it's literally a Gunmen, then I'd think Sonic could use one. They run off of Spiral Energy/Fighting Spirit, which Sonic is chock-full of. As for learning how to use it: Kamina didn't have any training. He was able to use Gurren like a pro as soon as he got in it. Hell, we could even use this as it's design. I'm not gonna push the issue if it's just not gonna work out given the plot-based circumstances, but I'm just sayin': Sonic is a definite candidate for a Gunmen.
