I don't believe we are THAT far from developments such as this, The Wii deals with mostly arm movement, and Games such as Dance, Dance Revolution deal more with feet pattern movement, You just like program that.

The hardest thing would be getting it attention, and funds, then more props, new ideas, advances.
You'd need to advertise if your serious.
Other wise how would you pay for people to become professional's at this? Or for there to even be more than one camera thingy? You'd need alot of sponsors, that is if your not rich.

Meaning the game goes on around you, your just the controller? You don't do much but some gestures? I am pretty sure its already been done. Sony did it with Eyetoy, Microsoft has done it with Kinect, even Nintendo has done things like that lol.

Hmm.... Perhaps. If I can figure out an image recognition system, most likely. Would we use props for weapons? For example, in reality you hold a bright orange stick. Program a kinect (or any camera really, 3D is just a metric nut ton easier, most likely anyways) or something to have the color recognition. So the camera sees something orange and adds a 3D model there in AR. Very much similar to how the 3DS works with AR cards. Then just program it to recognize another player and program damage. I suppose it could be crazy simple or crazy complicated lol. But our main limitation is budget, time, and working tech hands lol.
