Suppose you have a point; I'd personally like to risk life against monster and work my way through the game, but that's me. Should play the game at some point.

It seems more fun if you have Mobs trying to kill you. I can understand the appeal of Peaceful, but I just find the idea of creating things with no risks kinda boring. Sure it's cool to make a fortress completely out of gold, but if you didn't fight off zombie hordes or exploding bush monsters every so often it kinda losing the appeal of the game. That's my observation of the game.
