It's in chronological order, though, so I may be coming up on it.

My favorite so far was if Alexander the Great had died at the Granicus River. It was one of the most detailed and logical, and the writer was the best descriptively.
The other two I've read were on the battle at Salamis and Assyria's invasion of Jerusalem.

The Collected What If. It's a surprisingly good series of essays about what might have been.
