He's a vampire. It's not like he ate much besides blood. It'd be like you living your whole life on dry bread, and then suddenly being given a meat combo pizza. He doesn't genuinely "like them too much", it just really seems like it with the comments he makes. It's played for laughs.

Well not entirely wrong. He basically obsesses over sardines now. He loves their taste... almost a little too much.

To clarify; Valvatorez is a vampire who promised that he would never drink blood again until he'd stricken fear into a certain girl's heart. She died three days afterwards, so he considers his promised unfulfilled, and keeps it. To keep himself alive, he lives off of Sardines, which are a good alternate source of protien etc.

It's only for certain times, plot-based things. The fight against him in Disgaea 4 is the best example.
