Well she lives up to her name. With those arms she could probably fight Gurren Lagann on even terms. And when she goes berserk, or otherwise gets really determined, she can bring out two extra arms, each with the same capabilities as the first set. On top of that, she can pin down an enemy and piston them with her fists, which would basically pulverise any normal human.

Evil Ryu... I suspect that Strength would beat him. He might be immune to bullets, but she'd be able to crush him in her hands if she went all-out. Depends if she was Yuu or Strength, though mine is actually Strength, so she's more sane. Less likely to go berserk like that, but if she grew to like somebody and was defending them... well, that'd be a different story.

IBRS has one hell of a smile, right? Creepy. And yeah, Strength is just what her name suggests. She'd be brokenly strong against normal enemies.

1) It's not out yet and 2) It's a different continuity to the series. The movies actually exist in-canon, as a biographical film about Nanoha and Fate, as well as Hayate. As such, several liberties have been taken so as to avoid the 'classified' info. Also, Precia was seen as more sympathetic in the end, since she showed regret before falling into Al Hazard. She remembers that Alicia always said to her that she wanted a younger sister, and then realised that she could have treated Fate as another child as opposed to a replacement for her first.

It could perhaps be easier to watch the fights on youtube (they're all there) and then watch the OVA, which is 6 episodes long, and incredibly epic. That's where my Guy is from anyway.

He does indeed. Nanoha is my absolute favourite for that exact reason though; that it includes the really awesome things about mecha, while keeping it in personal combat. It's too easy to depersonalise a fight by having two characters fight using vehicles, but since the mecha in Nanoha are just handheld weapons, it's amazing.
You'd like GaoGaiGar too, if you had the patience to watch it all. 50 episodes, and it's slightly repetetive, but the truly high points are amazing, and one can never decide if Guy is a shonen hero or a mecha pilot. He's technically both, since he can kick ass in or out of GaoGaiGar, though the scale of the enemies usually means he has to use the mecha.

Nope. Nanoha is the first and so far only anime to use all three of shonen, magical girl, and mecha tropes. Madoka comes fairly close, but it's more Shonen than mecha.
You know the reason that Nanoha includes so many mecha tropes? During the design phase, it was going to be a cutesy regular Magical Girl show. Then somebody on the storyboard team noticed that Nanoha's outfit resembled a Gundam. He threw in those tropes just for fun, and it all went AWESOME from there.

Yeah, that was my thoughts. This way it feels more fair, and their magic would be about as effective as their specials would be.
