Technically a Caster would be capable of combat, depending on who it is. Same for Assassin. Avenger can fight easily enough.

Without one puts it at a disadvantage. I'd say give it something to do with anti-heroism or vengeance.

Eh... it's just long, tedius, and sorta complicated. If it were my RP, I'd simplify it, but that's me. Bushy wasn't a fan of forcing the stats either.

RPs are hard to design for. You have to plot out everything that people might try to do, and come up with ways to counteract those. I find them hard to think about, which is why my Nanoha RP is still being written for, after several months.

I know that, but think more from the common man's perspective. They believe in God, and their kings are said to be chosen by Him, and then suddenly there's stories of the king shooting a bright light from his weapon. What would you believe?

Hm... the anime does a fairly good job of stating power levels without quoting grades all the time, so I think if we make the stat sheet optional but keep it there (for Fate fans that want to be specific), and then give a general rank for the Servant instead, that would keep it easy. For example, as a Lancer I'd say Arturia would be a B++ ranked Servant overall, an A at a stretch. Gawain would likely be the same, though more likely to be an A because he's a Saber.

Sure thing. I don't think all of the stats are that important though, honestly. Since we want lots of joiners, the forms should be simple and fairly quick to fill out, even for an original Servant. Having everything with stats would make it hard for non-Fate fans to understand, and they'd mess up with the rankings etc.

Well for example, if there's a legendary spear that was said irl to have "been given the power of fire", then that can be exagerated to let them shoot fireballs or something, but that's just Natsuversing things up as it should be. A normal spear is always just a normal spear, and any powers it has would have to come from the wielder, not the weapon.

Anti-Unit is fine, but I'd suggest B rank. Not that it matters, her skill with it will make her able to match another Servant in a battle regardless. Also tactics.

I think fireballs would be fine actually, so long as they don't spam it. After all, this will be an RP, not a game. Nothing will ever be unwinnable unless it's intended to be.

The legends don't seem to specify. If I can't find the real effect it was said to have, I'll just make something up for it and have it have been blessed or something, making it glow and be stronger for it. Basically just a spear version of Excalibur, but not as brokenly powerful.

Yeah, don't worry, I'll stick to the spear primarily anyway, since she's a Lancer, and her sense of honour would make her stick to the classes strengths. If it came to fighting Saber however, she would use Excalibur, because again, her honour would require it to be a real duel. Otherwise, Excalibur would only be used for the actual attack, or if she got otherwise disarmed, which is unlikely.

It's the same NP though. There's no realistic reason it would be any weaker at all, especially not compared to it's sister sword wielded by Gawain. Either way, it barely even matters, since nobody is going to pay attention to stats beyond whether something is strong or weak.

He'd make a good almost-final boss for the outside group, and it's possible that his older self would be the almost-final boss for the inside group, since that seems to fit.
It will be possible to form alliances, right? Only, I'm sure you know that Lancer and Saber would be very willing to fight alongside one another, due to who they are.

Sounds like he will have to be fought eventually then, if only near the end-game of the story.

Impressive, but if it comes to a real fight, don't go godmod happy. Unless the fight is supposed to be unwinnable. In which case the opponent should probably be told beforehand and given a choice.
