From my quick look on google, the Japanese word for Judgement is "hantei". Not sure if it would work, since it's dangerously close to another word that's Japanese for Pervert. Might I suggest using the Japanese word for Judge, which is "saibankan".

You could pull what I did with Wesker and basically have the knowledge of how to fight come with the ownership of the Device (Though in Wesker's case, it was the ownership of his Linker Core). Just come up with some moves, and give them names that relate to Light. In Wesker's case, for example, I gave him a shield ability called "Uroboros Shield" and a bind called "Nightmare Grip". Maybe a laser-style move, aptly named "Shinigami Breaker"? It's up to you, though.

He has a Device now, right? Meaning his actual fighting ability is much greater than it was before. Maybe you could try to involve him in the current fight? Might be a bit tricky, what with the Gods involved and stuff(Though I believe Light thinks of himself as a God, right?).
