Hayate is above the law. Seriously. She couldn't get into trouble if she pinned somebody down and had her way with them all night. Just don't give her that idea. ...okay, maybe I will play her after all. She'll interact with Reinforce and Dearche too well to pass up.
Aha, this one's more of a comedy character than anything, but by god is he going to be useful in combat too. He just shouldn't have any right to be good in combat.

Well by StrikerS she's actually 19. Also I think Midchildia allows relationships etc between human and Familiar, since there's actually very little difference between a human and a familiar in human form. Changing that law specifically for their animal form would be like saying you're allowed to sleep with your partner if you're on a bed, but not anywhere else, it'd be impossible to enforce, and unfair to do so anyway.

Although I will tell you something that few people know (you have to piece it together through a hell of a lot outside material). In StrikerS, Zafira never takes on his human form at all, and it's heavily implied that it's because Hayate kept groping him in human form. It's further implied that him being a wolf didn't stop her.
Yep. It will be fun.

Fate is a great character, Nanoha is kind of a standard protagonist, but she's still very likable, and Hayate is just really generic. About the best thing about Hayate is that she molests everyone and everything she can, but I'm not sure if that'd be allowed in the Cove.
Also, Eddie and co are about to meet Lightning, Sazh, and Shirou.
