Well in England, we can only start lessons when we are 17 and then we can have as many lessons as we need to learn and practise how to drive and then when we're ready we take a theory test (like what do road signs mean and hypothetical situations etc.) and then we take an actual test where the examiner tells you what to do and then passes or fails you. Bad things are split into majors and minors depending on their severity, like driving too close to the car infront in a minor while hitting something is a major. One major and you fail, but 16 minors and you fail. That's what I've got from friends.
