I really like stumbling upon the sidequests in the game, seeing cool little snippits of stuff, "Turn back time" was really interesting, lots of time related stuff in this game, guess it's a whole Murphys been in prison, lots of time on his hands, or he wants to turn back time on the things he did etc. sort of feeling they're going for.

Made a bit of progress, refuse to use a guide though, found the code for the pre-order life safe and fixed the elevator, now i need a keycard for it to take me to the top, where that however is beyond me

I like the statue enemies that project their shadows out to fight you, it's kinda cool.

I hate the rooms that steal dynamic camera controls from me and force me to watch it from a fixed angle, so annoying and frequent and not to mention not needed.

OH GOD LOST AND CONFUSED, so many puzzle doors, and i know some aren't even mandatory, in a library/archives, got roman numeral safes, projectors and digital key pad doors which are the same as the pre-order safe from earlier.

I've found a poster for Sheperds Glen and I've found the room from SH4 so far.

The game is trying, that's it's best praise, it's really trying to be like the older SH games, and I can appreciate it for that, unlike Homecoming that took the air of "Movie was cool, let's make that, oh and also grab as much of SH2 as possible"

my main problem with Downpour is the enemies, where the **** are my all legged animals and naked man sharks!

This is totally not a Silent Hill game, I can go into waaaay too many rooms, where is my "the lock is broken, I can't go in" for 95% of the rooms.
