Well, there are currently over 7,000,000,000 people on planet Earth. To keep it simple lets round to a nice even number. Half the world has day and half the world has night. So half the world is 3,500,000,000. Probably half of them are asleep, so I would guess 1,750,000,000 people. Probably only a third are paying attention to the moon, so I would guess roughly 583,333,333 people are looking at the moon at any given moment :D
