I had some frame skipping with V Sync on, and screen tearing with it off.

Are you getting any stuttering issues in DE:HR?

The game isn't optimized too well. I play every game in 1080p and get 60fps, but when I tested The Witcher 2 to see how it ran, I didn't get too great of a frame rate.

It's good, but it's pretty dated. Came out in 2007, so the characters have an uncanny valley feel to them. Good story though, I'm actually enjoying it more than I did with Skyrim.

I almost bought Portal 2 before when it was 22.49 or something. But I got the bundle with Portal 1 in it too for 12.49. Steam's pretty tricky when it comes to sales, so I usually wait until it get REALLY cheap.
Hopefully The Witcher 2 goes on sale soon. I really want to play that.

Fantastic, I understand the show is hit or miss with everyone, but if it's a hit with you its absolutely amazing, and I think being nerds ourselves the show is already a hit, good characters and plot and really funny, good show all round.

Ps3 you big silly, Tales games rocks.

I know, Im not watching it until it's done, kinda what I do, in the mean time i have season 6 of dexter, seasons 4&5 of Chuck and then Fringe to watch, so im solid.

Frenchieeeee, go buy Tales of Graces f if you're any kind of tales fan.

Gaston is a pretty great guy, his only real fault is that he's "a bit" full of himself. I kinda disagree with him being like the normal Disney hero, those guys are usually super bland and the princesses seem to only like them based on sex appeal. Gaston, on the other hand, is a legitimately great guy, he's able to care and pay for Belle, and he really just wanted to love Belle. The Beast is an abusive dick, he never should have gotten the girl. Harumph. Gaston is amazing.

Speaking of Gaston, you haven't played the latest Zelda, have you? Groose in that game is almost exactly like Gaston, and by all rights, he should have been the hero of that game, instead of Link.

Ahwell, back to FFIV I guess, waiting on Mass Effect 2 coming in and I ordered Tales of Graces f from Canadialand for my Ps3 since we might not even get the game, so plenty to keep me busy when it arrives.

God damn pokemon crashed at the same point again, so sad face, sent an e-mail to the seller demanding a refund or another copy of the game, now I wait
