Hey, I just wanted to let you know, I have to drop out of the Tea Party thing. I unexpectedly got sick this past week, and then I'm leaving for vacation in two days, and I'm just too busy to do the Party. Sorry for signing up and then flaking, it really does look like it's a lot of fun.

I already informed my partner that I can't make it, so if he shows up, it will be as a single guest.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience, I know it must be frustrating for the staff to set up events for us and then have a lot of us skip out.

I've gotten off to a good start for 2nd semester, including managing to recover from my bad start with an F in Spanish.

In Accounting, my overall grade is 95.6% A. On our first chapter test, which was chapter 12, I got 91/100. In Senior English, my overall grade is 85.7% B. However, once he gets the score for my Summation of Presentation rewrite (I didn't follow the prompt the first time and got 15/25) of the confusing words presentations we did in, it should go up to an A- or an A. For my presentation, I got 20/25. In Systems of the Earth, my overall grade is 74% C. We also just had a quiz today. In 3rd Year Spanish, my overall grade is 92.5% A-. We've had two quizzes and two tests so far in Spanish. The first quiz, which is the one that got me off to a bad start because I got 6/14 on it, was a true and false quiz of chapter 4: Viva el Toro, and that was done on February 7th. Our second quiz was on the verb añadir, which means to add, and we just did the present, preterite, and imperfect. I originally got 7.5/9 on it because I couldn't remember the definitions, but she lets us retake verb quizzes, so I did and got 9/9 on it, and that was done on February 9th. On verb quizzes, it's a half point on each thing (I, you, he / she, we, they, and the definition), and if it's not perfectly right, we lose the half point. She used to round up half points, but stopped doing that. I believe she did that because it was hard to keep track of half points before or something. Anyway, moving on. Our first test was on the vocabulary of chapter 10: La Salud (something unrelated to Viva el Toro, just a little FYI there), and I got 25/25 on that, and that was on February 14th. Our second test was on chapter 10 itself. She hasn't gotten that graded yet, but chapter 10 was about saying each other (e.g.: nos miramos) and lo que stuff; that was yesterday, February 16th (for me, anyway, as it's already February 18th for you).

We haven't had any quizzes or tests yet in Senior English.
