So I spent almost two hours playing last night, before I just couldn't keep awake.
I live this game. :D

Enjoying it already. I definitely owe you one for this.

Meanwhile; I'm trying out the alt costumes, seeing how everyone plays, then going into story mode.

You should probably finish watching the series before you do serious playing. After all; there are spoilers.

Those two are Kyrie and Amitia Florian. Two sisters from the far future. The pink-haired one is Kyrie, the one with redder hair and the blue outfit is Amitia. They're game-exclussive characters too.

Well uh... you haven't seen her in a battle yet, in the RP at least. She's stuck up, so she only fights people that really bug her.
You have to unlock the Material girls? Darn, Stern was going to be my main. I'll have to main as Thoma once I get him instead then.

I have a mini-translation, but you'd have to go hunting through the thread for various bits. The better thing to do is look up TheScarletSword on youtube and watch his playthroughs of the second game, each of which links directly to the post that has the relevant translation. The first game can be summed up with "the Materials appear, cause a bit of trouble, then get beaten". It's an Arcade mode with an excuse plot. Second game was far superior.

Chronological order. Season two is just a few months after season one. Season three, on the other hand, is set like ten years afterwards. Makes me sad that they must have done so much during that time, that they simply didn't show us. :(

I was at first. But then I saw clips of it. It was nothing like Cardcaptors or any of the usual things in the genre. Nanoha is essentially a mecha anime, with the mecha being weapons instead of giant robots. And it does it gloriously.

And Nanoha is Stern's original. Dearche's original doesn't appear until season 2 though. Which is my favourite season.

You're welcome! I just want as many people as possible to give it a chance. It's such an obscure series for most people. They either never heard of it or hear of it and pass it over because of "Magical Girl" in the title, but it's so much more than what the title suggests.

That's okay. Sounds like you're onto the good parts now; Fate should have gotten involved and the plot should be moving forward. Oh I so need to rewatch the series(s)~

But lol, no, they won't be. The Materials are my absolute favourites, so I had to be them, and Subaru is Bushy's absolute favourite, so he had to be her. U-D is a plot character, Reinforce was brought in on tC's request, and Thoma I wanted in because he is an absolute powerhouse and I wanted a way to counter potential godmodding until U-D arrives.
So basically; there are a lot of characters still available. xP

Season 2 (A's) was my favourite by far. Much more of the real Nanoha feel. And some good new characters.
