Hey, I just wanted to let you know, I'm the person you got paired with for the Tea Party thing, but I'm afraid I can't make it. I'm really sorry for flaking out like this, but I won't be able to get on any time at all this upcoming week, and so I'm going to go ahead and drop out. If you still want to do the tea party, you'll probably be able to pair up with another partner. There are quite a few guests currently without partners, I think.
