At the end of the Big Bang, Rory and Amy have their wedding. The Doctor shows up after a complex series of events that I don't want to mention to you (I don't want to spoil EVERYTHING) and that could be when she meets him. He dances (long story, but it's hilarious), and she could be outside during that part, checking out the TARDIS. At the end, when the Doctor, Rory and Amy are ready to leave, she could open the door and hop in right before they take off.

What do you think about that scenario?

Honestly, having her show up at the end of The Big Bang would be best. If you want a detailed explanation of why with spoilers and everything, then I'll give it to you, but there WILL be spoilers...

Well, just having her be his sister is a bit too much, as the Ponds are nothing but family ties all around, so the combo of having her be adopted is probably better.

Well, I never knew that I could care so much for an alien, but he has that ability to make you really feel for the character he's playing.

You don't really feel much for Barty Crouch Jr, but that was Harry Potter. You're only supposed to care for "the boy who lived".

David Tennant's death will do that to you.

I never cry when I watch movies or read books (except for Nicholas Sparks and Professor Layton; always), but I came pretty damn close in that one scene. I know that inside I was crying up a storm, but nothing ever comes out.

Yeah, the specials don't really take much time to fly through, nor are they extremely complicated.

Oh yeah. The Next Doctor is a combination of laughter and depression rolled up into a nice, clean special.

Just... just focus on the good things right now. It doesn't have to be depressing from here until the end.
