Well as you'd know if you read the books, Luke actually has a natural affinity for using Force Lightning, despite being light-sided. As Jedi Master Luke, he used a green variation of it called Electic Justice, which is essentially BS for using for "Good Force Lightning". In the DLC though, Starkiller beats the tar out of Luke completely and says that he's going to kill him like his father, to which Luke responds by giving in to his rage/hatred/etc and drawing on the Dark Side, and then using it against Starkiller.
He still loses, and is so fallen by the end of the fight that Starkiller just takes him on as an apprentice.
