My advice would be to just confront him in a serious way, tell him up front what you just told me, include the bit about how cheating didn't help the situation and tell him if he wants a relationship with you, to quit whining and start compromising and putting up with it, since its partly his fault in the first place....I'd like to again say this is my advice.
