Well, I can't exactly head over to GameStop at the moment. Still, if I can find that the disc based version is free to play forever, I'll order it on Amazon (my mom rarely gets anything she likes anywhere else nowadays).

I doubt it.
PvE is when player controlled villains (or heros if you are a villain) cannot attack you.
PvP is where they can attack you.
You might want to check for that.

I'll create another character (I wasn't happy with duel pistols and you can't change your weapon until about level 10) and see if I can find you

Dammit... do you know if you can download games you bought (or got free in most cases) again from the Store? I don't want to lose WipEout (with the add-on content) or MvC2.

Well, is the disc based game free to play online or is there still a subscription? I tried downloading it from the Store, but I didn't have enough free space. I tried deleting all my demos and pointless save files, but I still couldn't. Unless the disc is free to play, I won't.
